I got told about this a while back but as the repeat was on at 4am I decided to Sky+ it.... FINALLY remembered to watch it today and found it very interesting!

Its a programme about a lady called Debbie Grice (and I'll probably find out now that she is a member of this site LOL ) and how she is coping with her diagnosis and finding out about latest research.

It mentions a Gait Studio that is a state of art facility... however I remember using a very similar thing at St Thomas' Hospital, London when I was about 15. Other stuff mentions that a 'cure' could be as close as 5yrs away through gene therapy, however the professor was quick to point out that this would be more likely for newly diagnosed, and not for those who have 'established' RA

It was scheduled on the Community Channel and can be watched on the Community Channel - Science and Me section

Hi Tigg,

Thanks for posting, I definitely would like to watch it but I am a bit of a coward when it comes to watching something so close. Fingers crossed that they can come iup with a cure for newbies, and hopefully the will finds something for us old timers.

Best regards

Cool
